The fruit shop template is for a fictitious store. Building a skill for a real store is a major undertaking and would require close colaboration with the store owners. For someone new to programming I would see this as something some way off. I'd concentrate on gaining experience with easier undertakings.

@Andy Whitworth Thanks for the response. Do you have a suggestion of an easier undertaking or an example store I can study? I went through the basic Alexa Skills modules and am trying to learn how to fulfill the assigned skills request. I also shared your response with the project manager.

Can I ask what you're looking to do ? You mention a project manager, is this a work related activity ? Some background would help on further guidance.

@Andy Whitworth it is a work related activity. For multiple product lines, I have this task: Create the audio order skills for products and include recommended product information where available. Point Towards Arcadia Market Place US.
The Fruit Store template was the closest I found. I was trying to replace "fruits and vegetables" with the particular products and the store/invocation name based on the product line descriptor (nothing that is trademarked). Does any of this help?
