Bit of background - the skill is called Runn Radio, and its a fairly simple music streaming skill that just plays the live feed of a local radio station for a place called Runnymede.
Up until about 2 weeks ago it mostly worked fine. Some of the utterances were a bit inconsistent, but as long as you had the skill enabled, asking to "launch runn radio" always worked so that's what we've been advertising.
Out of the blue, it stopped working. "launch runn radio" now gives "Hmm, I dont know that one" and "open runn radio" starts kerrang radio.
I appreciate that runn is heard as run, which is probably already making my life difficult, but I can't understand why the "launch" version used to work and suddenly doesn't. Its not like it's finding a better match, its just not launching anything. Typing "launch runn radio" in the console test tab still works, and clicking "launch runn radio" in the activity tab of my alexa phone app also works, so I guess it's down to a confusion between run and runn - but again, why would it work fine then suddenly stop?
Any suggestions/help/advice/idea of things to try would be much appreciated!
