Kindle text to speech for reading programming books

Can I either configure or perhaps program the text-to-speech for Kindle so that it can read programming texts properly? When I have it try to ready C# it pronounces it "C hash". And for any programming language, it reads "!=" as "equals", probably because it thinks of the "!" as the end of sentence exclamation point.

After sitting up at a desk all day as a programmer, it would be very nice to have this text-to-speech feature to keep up to date with current programming books.
