Regarding Zero-Touch Setup

Hi there. I'm going to develop the IoT things to support Amazon FFS.


I wanted to check the Zero-Touch Setup introduced in the following article. :

And, the product introduced in the following article was actually purchased from Amazon.com. :

The product I bought are Kasa Smart Plug Mini (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b07txm4mt3), Philips Hue White Bulbs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/b07r2mq2py).


I followed the guidelines described in the document.

1. I am using Echo 4th Generation.

2. I actually purchase the things from amazon.com. (Not a GIFT)

3. Wi-Fi and Password are registered in Amazon.

4. I received Alexa Skill for Kasa Smart Plug and Hue Smart Bulb in iPhone Alexa app.

5. I received the product and connected the power.


But, all things are not connected automatically in my Alexa..


What is the problem ? What did I do wrong ?


Please, let me know how to use Amazon FFS-ZTS mode.

Hi Dongshin,

Some things to consider:

1. Did you check the " Link to your Alexa account and to TP-Link to simplify setup" box during your purchases?

2. Have you linked the account with the 3P skills to Alexa App?

3. Did you register the Echo 4th Generation with the same customer account as the one you purchased the KASA Smart Plug and Phillips Hue Light Bulb with?
