Custom Keyboard unsupported by the Amazon Appstore still many apps are able to use it ?

As per the Amazon migration Documentation custom keyboards are not supported at the Amazon Appstore but still many apps live are using their custom keyboards.

So my question is it supported or not or there is any modification in the App Compliance Guidelines ?

Hi there,

Thanks for posting! You are right, custom keyboards, as in creating your own custom input method (https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/text/creating-input-method) usable across the system, are not supported. However, you can still create your own View, usable in your app, which you can then populate with whatever keyboard controls you like. As an example, please see this question and some of the answers to it, as an inspiration: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9577304/how-can-you-make-a-custom-keyboard-in-android - thanks!

Thanks @Levon@Amazon as shared in the link we can make our own View with Layouts, make connection with edit-text and use it as a keyboard .
