firestick with panasonic tv dropping dsl connection

I have been using a RCA tv with firestick for last 6 months fine. I was given a pansonic 50 inch tv and every time i try to stream the dsl connection drop, put rca back on no issue. Neither tv are smart tv. I spoken with frontier and pansonic and they were not helpful. Anyone have any ideas? modem from frontier is a Arris NVG443B and Pansonic is is a th-50px80u.
