Submission failed due to Amazon Content Policy

A few months ago you rejected our app submission due to us not providing IAP in our app. We now uploaded a new version of our app with the basic functionality - that does not require a subscription and we are not offering a subscription anywhere in the app.

If our Kindle App does not have any subscription based functionality why are we required to offer IAP?

We tried contacting you through the "Contact Us" page but we keep getting this generic response of "you do not comply...."

How can we get someone to actual respond to our questions?

Hi,

Because this is regarding an issue that is specific to your app, we aren't able to assist in the public forums.

Please keep working with the support agent via the Contact Us form to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

Mike

This is absolutely absurd! I've been trying to contact you via Contact Us several times now with no response.
The only response I'm getting is here saying to use contact us. Which of course, just like your only response to us from the contact us is an automatic response that doesn't help at all and is not useful.

What can we do so someone will contact us about this issue?
Even with other bigger platforms someone got back to us and provided us with help, why can't Amazon do the same?
