Monetisation for India based Alexa developers

What are the various monetisation options for Alexa developers based out of India please.

I understand in app purchasing or advertising etc. are not available.

How can one justify the efforts without monetisation.

Developer rewards is your only possibility I believe.

Even that has been restricted by Amazon such that Indian developers can only receive dev rewards for skills in the Indian skill store. That's not the case for developers in other regions (although only Indian devs can receive rewards for the Indian market, as a UK dev I can receive rewards for all particiating regions *except* India).
