Mount folder within filesystem (directory / Drive letter) using Cloud Drive

A feature I'd like to see built out in the cloud client is the ability to mount a folder or a user's entire cloud drive as a Drive letter (windows) or a directory (windows + *nix). [b]This is distinctly different from synchronizing a particular folder or drive to Cloud Drive.[/b] Example: A PC / laptop Has a single local storage device available with a capacity of 50 GB, available as drive C. The user has a folder in Cloud Drive with 500 GB of content. This folder is made available in its entirety, mounted as drive M. A small cache of file contents and metadata is stored locally (AppData, ProgramData, etc). When a file is accessed, the Cloud Drive client downloads and syncs changes in the background. If the file is extremely large, (e.g. video) the relevant parts of the file are streamed as needed. This is roughly how Bitcasa Personal works (see https://www.bitcasa.com/personal/ & https://www.bitcasa.com/ ). Right now it's the biggest feature / mechanic keeping me on Bitcasa over Cloud Drive.

Umm...I think you meant "I want a Amazon Cloud Drive FUSE". Yes, it will be nice if we have something like that. Vote for this.

This looks cool, but can anyone provide simple instructions for using FUSE for OS X to mount an Amazon Cloud Drive?

You could also try this app: http://www.expandrive.com/expandrive They have a 7 day trial that's fully functional. This app is a good implementation of the FUSE. Works very good on Mac. PS: I'm not affiliated to the developer. Message was edited by: Juan P. Bretti Mandarano
