Frustration-Free Setup - BSS/ZSS vs. WSS

From reviewing the documentation, it seems that intent of BSS/ZSS is that the user provisions the device directly into the Alexa App, and there is no need for any 3rd Party device manufacturer application.

For WSS (SDK Option) it seems this is also the intended path, but that the user may have an option to take advantage of WSS from within the 3rd Party App... and For WSS (App/Backend Option), it seems that the user does not have the option to provision directly into the Alexa App, and must provision the device in the 3rd Party App.

Can you please confirm if my interpretation above is correct or help to clarify what the real-world UX would be for the different FFS methods?

Thanks!

It is correct that BSS/ZSS do not require a 3P app. Customer does setup directly with their supported Echo devices, devices are then managed within the Alexa App.

WSS over Wi-Fi does require the 3P app for manual baseline setup (non Zero Touch Setup). There is no baseline setup in the Alexa App.
