Can Amazon list items purchased in the email order confirmation?

I have several Amazon emails in my in box and not sure what they are for without clicking through to each one. If amazon added a list (or partial list) of items ordered on that particular order #, it would be easier to track my open orders in my email inbox.

Yes was thinking the same thing for a while now. It would be very helpful to all Amazon Junkies. I order a lot and it gets pretty confusing sometimes. Add an extra line for the item description shouldn't be this hard to do. And Yes, is Amazon actually looking at this site or is it a waste of time for us. Thank you

Yes, the confirmation email would be more helpful if it actually contained the name of the item(s) on that particular order. The other "buy again" images from a previous order that are in the email are confusing and in my opinion have no place on an order confirmation. I don't recall EVER finding the "buy again" suggestions embedded in a confirmation email to EVER be helpful. Before I place an order is when I check to see if I want to order more of things I have ordered in the past. Directly after I place the order is NOT THE TIME, all I want to see in my confirmation email is a confirmation which includes the names of only the item(s) on that particular order. PERIOD. Any information about other products should not be in that email.

Does anyone at Amazon read these suggestions?

I agree. It is more labor intensive to click on the link that gets you into your account to determine what the item is that was delivered. There should be an option that allows one to enable or disable the actual listing title within the email; on top of the order number.
