I know this question was asked several years ago (and the answer was no). However, I haven't seen anything recently (in Google searches). Are there any plans to build out a public API or Android SDK for Amazon Music? I couldn't find any recent questions/answers on this topic.
I would love the ability to extend Amazon Music in my own app. Seems really stange that Amazon seems to only focus development on Alexa Skills Kit development.

I agree. It's nutty that Amazon is not offering an API for music when they have an API for everything else under the sun.
How rude to not answer this question. @KintanBrahmhatt how about an answer. I'd like to be able to search for UltraHD music...since you don't give me filters for this. Let me double check that nothing has been added. There is a filter choice of hd/ultrahd...I just want ultrahd.
