Can Amazon add continuous scrolling to Kindle for PC

Can Amazon add continuous scrolling to Kindle for PC? How long will it be until they implement such a feature? At the moment, because of this feature, I vastly prefer reading on Adobe Acrobat. However, this seems to be impossible for some books that I have bought because they are only on Amazon Kindle, and Amazon prevents me from converting one file to the other.

I agree. Most of my reading experience on mobiles and tablets are scrolling based. I scroll up and down all the time. And websites on the computer are the same. I usually don't turn pages or move from web page to web page to finish reading a news article or see my feeds. I just scroll down until finish. I'm so used to this reading experience, but the Kindle experience seems outdated in this regard. I vote for this feature to be implemented in Kindle for PC, Kindle readers, and Kindle read on the browser.

Isn't this depending on the book you read. I have already seen this with different books.

I read computer books which have a lot of example code. On my android, I can continous scroll so I can get blocks of code all on one page, with the same book on PC I have to deal with page breaks in the middle of the code block. This can make code difficult if not impossible to read. I also make cut and paste into the dev editor painful (multiple cut & pastes with associated re-adding line breaks and commenting out the citation while reducing the number to 1).

I agree, other book reading tools in Windows provide both a page scrolling and a continuous scrolling. The option to be able to use the preferred scrolling mode would be a great benefit for Kindle users.
