Alexa account linking with custom API

I am looking to set up Alexa's account linking with a custom API. My plan is to create a webpage that will be the page Alexa will go to when linking accounts.

The user will fill in their details, HTTP request made and the authentication token will be sent back to the page. My question is, how do I receive that token into the API? The Lambda function I am creating will be built with C#.

Hi,

thanks for posting.

Alexa skills only support the Oauth 2.0 framework when it comes to account linking. You would need to own an Oauth server (or alternatively use Login With Amazon) to handle the authorization flow.

The token is sent to your backend whenever the linking process succeeds.

Kind regards,
Gaetano
