How to control the Alexa-Smart-Home device by a device Not using voice?

I want to design a device(button) to control alexa-connected-device Not using voice.

For example, I want to turn on the light, and I must to said "Alexa, turn on the light".

But when I can't speak , I can press the button to turn on the light and no need to talk.

can I achieve the function by the Alexa skill or Alexa Smart Home or other Alexa method ?

or by the Scenes in a Smart Home Skill ?

What documents should I read?

Hello there,

Yes, you can use Alexa Smart home skill for this. Once you create the Smart home skill after succefull discovery you can see your smart home devices from the Alexa companion app from where you can control the devices. Please implement state reporting feature to control devices from the Alexa app.
