I have built Alexa on raspberry pi by following the guide on developer.amazon.com. I wanted to ask that is it permitted to change in the files of Sample app to create our function for other tasks? Will it break the Sample App? I just want to add the functionality for example like Indicating LEDs on Alexa status like listening, thinking. I want to add an RFID read function inside it and others.
And another If I want to control the GPIO pins of Raspberry pi from the Alexa skill or from inside the Sample App where can I create the function and what will be needed and If there's a guide available Please send me.
