Reported Copyright Infringement and....

Last week on Wednesday August 7th, I reported for the first time here on Amazon copyright infringement on a design that was on mugs from 2 different sellers. I don't know if it's a seller with 2 different accounts or if it's actually 2 different people.

Anyway, the design was registered with USCO. I filled out the forms and gave them the registration number.

I received this email right away:

Hello,

We received your email. Amazon respects the intellectual property rights of others. After we process your notice, we will notify you by email. This usually takes 1 to 2 days.

Well, it's past 1 to 2 days and I haven't received any notification and the items haven't been taken down. So what do I do now? Report it again or keep waiting?

They did take down one item on Wednesday, August 14 2019:

Hello,

Thank you for your report of infringement. We reviewed your report and altered or removed the reported content based on the information you provided.

However, they did not take down the other item which was reported the same day. Not knowing why the 2nd item was not taken down, I reported the second item today again. I received this:

Hello,
We received your claim of intellectual property infringement complaint ID .........., ASIN(s) ............ Because you recently submitted an identical claim (...........), we will not investigate this duplicate claim. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for investigation of the original claim.

The 2nd claim was originally made on the same day as the first and they are well beyond 1-2 business days for investigation. The images for both items are the same design for which I have registered the copyright and gave them the number. I also provided a link to one of the designs which sold in the first month here. So they could see the date. As well as another link to a different site where I place my designs on so they could see the date there as well. I'm puzzled as to why this is taking so long.

They will usually get to it. Sometimes they are fast, sometimes it takes weeks. Don't know why it is like that, but that is how the system works.
