Correct APL Parameter format

I maintain a .NET Library for APL and several users have contacted me about the expanded parameter format in layouts.

The documentation at https://developer.amazon.com/docs/alexa-presentation-language/apl-layout.html#parameters still says the expanded version is preferred - but the issue I'm being shown is that only the simple text version is actually displaying a valid layout. When the expanded version is used the APL layout is blank.

Could I please have confirmation on what the correct layout is moving forward with APL 1.1 so I can make sure my library is outputting the correct format.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Up to 2 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 512.0 KiB each and 1.0 MiB total.

Hi,

can you please post an example of a layout from your library using the expanded parameters format?

As a best practice, expanded parameters are usually used when default values are needed.
