Unable to enter payment information

Hi -- I'm trying to enter the payment information for my account, so I can support In-Skill Purchasing. However, whenever I enter the BIC for my bank, it is rejected. The BIC is definitely the valid BIC for my bank, and validates correctly on several BIC-checking services which are available online. The Alexa Developer Console, however, says "Invalid BIC value". Has anyone else experienced this?
