ASK CLI deploy omits lambda alias name in arn

I recently switched over to using the lambda versions and aliases. So i now need my video skill to point to the alias instead of $LATEST. I updated the lambda arn in .ask/config file, but when i run an ask deploy, it removes the alias name and configures the lambda arn instead. IS this a bug or can i do something to make it work?

Lambda aliases are currently not supported within the ASK CLI.
