Integrated ads open google play when clicking test ad on Kindle Fire HD
I just went through all the steps to integrate Amazon Mobile Ads into one of my Android apps. This page lists a few things to test:
https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/mobileads/testing-your-app.html#Developer Launch Checklist Specifically the checklist says: "Does the Amazon Cloud Player ad correctly open the Amazon Mobile App Distribution store (or other distribution store)?" For some reason when I click the ad on my Kindle Fire, it opens Google Play in a web browser trying to download the 'Amazon MP3' app - something you obviously can't do on a Kindle Fire. I'm trying to figure out how this link is supposed to open - I was assuming with the built in Amazon music app on the Kindle Fire. I can't really release the app until I'm sure the ads will work well, and right now it looks like they don't recognize the ads are on a Kindle Fire, and not some other Android device. Any suggestions?
Hey Roger, Thanks for your forum post. We have modified this ad and we believe that it will now link to an Amazon page on your device. Please try again and let us know if the issue has been resolved. Thanks Matt
