Alexa Account linking always fails with Login with Amazon

To solve another question, someone on forum suggested to disable and enable the skill.

https://forums.developer.amazon.com/questions/194518/why-do-i-have-to-name-the-video-skill-target-in-ev.html

Now I am not able to enable the skill as it always throws the error "we were unable to link MyTV at this time" . There is no error code to follow. My skill name is "MyTV" and my profile is "alidanish22" and I am creating a video skill.

Hey Danish, what you can do to get a bit more error code out of this is to see what the url says after you get the error message (assuming that this is after you input your credentials): we were unable to link MyTV at this time.

Would you be able to paste that?

Hi Olivia, thanks for your response. I finally got it working today. I had to turn off the "Alexa Event" from the skill's permission tab, then perform the account linking. After account linking I re-enabled the alexa event. That's how it worked.
