Is it possible to remove invocation name from custom smart home skill?

we are developing custom alexa skill for smart home, but we don't know how to remove the invocation name from the skill. currently we need to say "alexa, ask [invocation_name] to turn on the light". is it possible to make it "alexa, turn on the light" . we don't want to use alexa in-built smart home api?

We can't wait to see this feature live.

MW if your requirement is just about switching off/on without invocation name then you should not use Custom Skill but Smart Home Skill template.
