Invalid locale for the private skill. getting error while validation

Hi Developer,

Private skills are available only in US.

Please make sure that you have selected English(US) Locale while creating skill.

Refer to the link below for more information on private skills.

Two questions:

1. Why are private skills olyn available in the US?

2. I want to create a private, non business related skill. I'm not running a business. I'm simply trying to create a skill that I want to test on my owned Alexa, not in a browser. Is this possible?

Hello there,

1. As of now Private skills are launched only in US.

2. To use skill for your own you don't need to create a private skill. You can keep your skill in "In Development" version itself and no need to publish the skill so that only you can use skill form your account.
