Downloads, but no IAPs?

So, My app is now live, and available for download on Amazon App Store. However, in the first day, there has not been a single IAP, even though there were plenty downloads. A feedback left by a user states that the purchase could not be made. So I decided to test the IAP myself. (I had of course tested IAPs with the SDK test tool, and I assume that Amazon testers tested the live IAP). After installing the Amazon app store app, I tried to download my game. But even downloading would not work for me, saying that my account is not in a supported country? Is Canada not supported? Hi, Amazon Apps is currently available for customers in the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Currently it is not supported in Canada. Regarding IAP issue, since it is specific to your app, please raise a ContactUs ( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html) with us and one of our support engineer will help you resolve it.

I had a similar, maybe related, problem. My app worked, but some of the IAPs were not getting resolved from Amazon. This meant that they were not valid so I could not display them. Not exactly sure what was going on, but instead of actually verifying whether they were valid, I just called the purchase API call with the IAP. That worked and I got a 100% increase in revenue because people COULD actually buy my IAP. Still, I haven't figured out why the Entitlement IAP weren't getting resolved correctly. Everything worked fine on the testapp. #mindboggled Hope that helps.

Hi Mochibits, Thanks for your reply, it is some useful info. Also quite a bit discouraging, as my resubmission will probably be affected the same way. I hope Amazon support will pick this up. Bram

Thanks a lot Sachin, The sales are rising steadily. Conversion rates look to be better than google play which is nice. Hopefully volume will get to similar levels.
