Icon images hosted to github pages with SSL do not work?

I tried deploying my skill with smallIconUri and largeIconUri pointed to images hosted on a custom domain via github pages, with SSL enabled. It failed every time, I assume because Amazon doesn't trust the generated SSL certs for custom domains on github? When I removed the custom domain from my github project and served up the images using the github.io address, it worked fine.

I'd love it if images hosted on custom domains via github ssl would work!

Well I had to turn it off in order to deploy, but I just turned it back on so you can take a look:

Thanks for sharing. I think it might be the SSL Cert since it's signed by Let's Encrypt. Can you leave this on for a bit? I'd like to ask the CLI team for clarification.
