May we request the addition of popular color options for shirts?

Good evening! Is there a possibility that vendors can request the addition of popular color options for the premium shirts (or all shirts in general)? It would be extremely helpful to have such colors as Gold and Forest Green available when designing shirts. This applies especially for clients in the sports arena where entities work from a similar color palette with those colors within the standard set. Thanks!

As a sports apparel designer full time I can definitely get behind this... I design for a number of high school and colleges in the northwest region and do agree that the color palette is similar across the board. A new catalog of different colored shirts would serve well in the MBA community, even despite the fact that these schools use different screen printing shops.

Hey W2Creative! I was told to get the community to vote on my Feature Request post for this topic to get it heard by the Merch management. Please go here (https://forums.developer.amazon.com/idea/169612/feature-request-gold-and-forest-green-shirt-colors.html) to vote on it and spread the word so we can see this truly happen! Thanks friend!

Thank you for the feedback here. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our customers and content creators. While I don't have any specific information to share on supporting new colors, I will be sure to pass your request on to the relevant team for their consideration!

Thanks Elizabeth@Amazon! Please do pass this on to the relevant team for consideration! We as vendors are only trying to make this more profitable for ourselves AND Amazon. With that said, just adding those two colors to make a complete standard color set would be huge for sports apparel and any other groups that utilize these standard colors!

Good afternoon Elizabeth@Amazon! Has there been any additional discussion to support the gold and forest green color options? I can tell you for sure I have groups that are needing these colors ASAP! I'm pretty sure other vendors would too! Is there anything I can do to better support this request? Is there any additional information I can provide you as support?

It's so difficult to remove a color option, any colors added are basically forever. But I would think that removing the least-popular color choices to make room for new ones would be a good idea. Adding a new color costs a lot of money to inventory, so at least to begin with, it would be a hit to Merch's profitability. Getting rid of the pastel yellow and blue (for example) might be a way to ameliorate that.

Hey ScottFromWyoming! Thanks for your comment and helping to further the discussion! From a business standpoint, I certainly understand what you are saying. I truly believe adding the color options to inventory may be an upfront cost, but having them will open things up to more projects (especially in the sports and school/university apparel arena) which has huge earning potential. But really, it will benefit all Merch vendors to have these colors as they are generally part of the standard set of colors (black, white, red, crimson (or darker red), orange, yellow, gold, kelly green, forest green, royal blue, navy, purple, brown). And agreed, removing a less popular color (if that is required for a color addition) may be a great solution to offset the inventory costs. I'll also note that Merch has all of those color options mentioned minus the two I'm requesting.
