I have exact same issue. Baloon just keeps loading. Not getting any response back.

I solved the issue by disabling Avast antivirus web shield when using the simulator.

Here it is June 4, 2019 and the same issue and same solution. I disabled Avast anti-virus and FINALLY the simulator is working. Thank you for the solution.

Hi Team,

Alexa simulator is not responding when I type for specific action and it gets into page wait state for long time. I do not have any other option than reloading the entire page (it is getting stuck) after couple of messages and not able to respond to any action on the page
