Hi Pitup3, Thank you for writing to us. Apps must render natively in high definition (HD) at the highest resolution possible on each of the designated devices and use the entire screen without distortion, pixilation, or stretching. You must also include high definition screenshots (1280x720 pixels or greater) of your apps that can be displayed on the product detail page. For more information please refer this link :
Is this something that's worked out automatically or by hand? On some of my accounts the app has passed, however most of them say pending for HD Optimised. Each of my apps is essentially identical, aside from the content, so I would no expect any differences in whether they passed or not. It's also particularly inconvenient that we need to upload new screenshots at a higher resolution, when a year ago we had to shrink our screenshots, because you could only upload image at at maximum of 1024x600!
Hi Darvds, Thank you for writing to us and sorry for the delayed response. When you submit your app to the Distribution Portal, our automated system would select it for Developer Select Program based on some conditions. One mandatory condition is your app has to be HD optimized. You might need to change the screen shots of the app if that's less than resolution 1280x720 pixels. You can upload screen shots between 3 and 10 PNGs or JPGs 800 x 480px, 1024 x 600px, 1280 x 720px, 1280 x 800px, 1920 x 1200px, or 2560 x 1600px (portrait or landscape)
