Rejected Skill - Device Discovery Failed - Cannot Reproduce

Hello,

Skill amzn1.ask.skill.500b5078-426d-4318-9ead-1406ff91de59 got rejected because device discovery failed. Using the same test account, device discovery works fine for us.

We are testing in Germany and have the same Lambda function deployed in Ireland and W Virginia.

Any ideas?

If you deploy in multiple languages or regions you must set geographic specific endpoints in your skill configuration, not only the default endpoint. Took me a while to figure that out.

Else make sure to set up different test accounts with the different amazon stores, change your browser default language, use incognito mode etc. and see if linking might fail for any of them.


Or just give them very, very detailed testing instructions and try again. Takes a few tries sometimes for them to get it right ;)

To your first point, we have some more information over here regarding correct regions and locales.
