Getting errors when attempt to upload unsigned binary of my APK?

I am attempting to upload an unsigned binary APK for my app as suggested because I am using Google Maps API in this new version of the app. This app is pre-existing in the app store, this is an updated version that I am attempting to submit. I repeatedly get this error: "Failed to upload binary. Please try again or contact us if the problem persists." I also get the warning: This Amazon signing setting differs from past versions of the application. This may impact existing users of your application. Settings: AmazonDRM: yes Amazon sign your app: no Is there something special I have to do to get my unsigned app submitted? I was able to submit as a signed app in the normal fashion, but it was rejected because the Google Maps API Key wouldn't work with Amazon AppStore signing. So they sent me instructions on how to submit with my on signature -- but it isn't working! Here are the instructions they sent me, I'm stuck on step 7: 1. Log in to the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Portal 2. Find the app on the My Apps tab 3. Select the version you wish to sign (i.e., under the Current Version or Upcoming Version columns) 4. Select the Binary File tab and then select Edit (note: if you already have a binary uploaded, click the ?X? icon next to the binary file name and then click OK when you are asked if you wish to permanently delete the binary. 5. Make your DRM selection at Apply Amazon DRM? 6. Select No under Let Amazon sign your app? 7. Upload your unsigned binary at Step 1. Upload unsigned binary by clicking into the UPLOAD BINARY box 8. Select Download Binary to download the processed binary at Step 2. Download processed binary 9. Sign the downloaded binary 10. Upload your signed binary at Step 3. Upload signed binary by clicking into the UPLOAD BINARY box 11. Add any necessary instructions into the Testing instructions field 12. Select the Save button
