You can download apps from our US/EU/JP Appstore provided you have country specific credit card and Billing Address for that country.

Great news, so for the small developer it's impossible to fully test our app? How do we test purchase/payment issues? Having a hard time finding it in the many pages of information on the Amazon Developer site. Also there's no mention of the fact that you can't download apps outside of select countries on the page you linked me to. I knew there were "issues" with your store but didn't think you'd block developers from making apps for your store. I guess I was naive to think you would have some sort of "tester/developer" framework for just this sort of issue.

Using a Kindle Fire emulator is the recommended way to test and debug your mobile apps if you do not have a Kindle Fire tablet available. Emulators are available for each of the Kindle Fire tablets. Awesome, thanks for some real information. Sorry about being cynical but dealing with these closed systems like iOS and Amazon kind of makes you that way. We do have a device in studio but we will be using the emulators as well. Looking forward to checking out the SDK Tester.

Not sure what you are talking about being cynical dealing with these closed systems. My app available on iOS, Google Play and Amazon Appstore and it took me at most few hours to rebuild test and move it from Google Play to Amazon Appstore. It has nothing to do with the whether they are close or open. All you need to do is read the document and do it.
