Do apps require version, copyright, or other common "About" content?

We are submitting an app soon and don't currently have an About or Settings section. I realize that the version is displayed in the Application Management area on the Kindle tablets, but is displaying it within the app required? Also, is there any other similar required content, such as copyright, author/publisher, etc.? Thanks in advance.
