What is the correct size for the splash screen on Kindle Fire HD?

Hello to all! New here! I am using Corona SDK and to build an app for the KIndle Fire and I am having issue with the size of the splash screen (or loading screen) The image I am using is coming from ios app (which I am trying to convert to Android) and it 1024X768. That image seems to have a black bar on both side of it (landscape app) So it may not be the correct image size to use for the Kindle. Thank you for any pointers! Mo @LairdGames

I am pretty sure you are looking for 1280x720
