Datepicker on Kindle Fire HD 8.9

User of my app have noticed a problem on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (works fine on standard Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD). Every instance of the datepicker has blank text. See : http://db.tt/uNfdWFEO Anyone else had this and is there an easy work around ?

Hi, We have tested sample app of date picker on KF HD8.9 and is working fine without any issue. So please raise a contact-us( https://developer.amazon.com/help/contactus.html) with your app details. This would help us to investigate the issue further.
