Hi, Thank you for submitting the app in Amazon Appstore. We have tested few sample apps on Kindle Fire HD and it is showing the large icon in the carousel when we launch the app. In Live environment also, large icons of the apps are displayed in the carousel. Hope this information helps you.

Hello! Thanks for your feedback but I am actually more confused now... are you saying that in a testing environment, the icon should show up at all time in the carousel, like it does in a live one and it is an actual bug that our app doesn't? If my understanding of your feedback is correct, have you encountered apps where the icon did not show in the carousel the first time you launch the game on Kindle Fire HD devices and if so, how do you recommend addressing it? Note that our app is listed fine in the Apps menu at all time.

The icon that appears in the carousel depends on whether the app is published through the store or not. If the app is not published, the icon will be pulled from the app resource directories. If the app is published (live), then the Amazon App Store will pull the high-res icon from the server. If your icon is missing, I would check the APK res folders and make sure it's there.
