App works correctly in Kindle Emulator, but fails app submission review

Hello all, I used Phonegap to build an HTML5 app and wrap it in android. I have this app on the android marketplace as well as Amazon (for non-kindle devices and finally got it to pass submission for Kindle Fire 1st and 2nd gen. However, it keeps failing for the Kindle Fire HD's, both 7 and 8.9 inch. I am not sure what is wrong. Everything runs perfectly in the emulator in Eclipse, however the testers keep saying that my textboxes on a certain page are getting pushed up off the screen and are unusable. My app detects the screen size while loading and loads assets based on the size. I have the navbar at the top set at a static 55px. I have that textbox set to appear at 75px from the top, and in the emulator, that's exactly where it appears every time. I have not idea what could be causing this and I wish I had a Kindle Fire HD of my own to test this since the emulator appears to be wrong. It would be nice if the app submission testers could give me a screenshot of the bugs.
