Pending Status

We are trying to upload a new version of our app, and need to cancel the current submission. It's been pending for several months, so there's obviously a glitch sometime. We've tried several times to reach out to support. At first we would get clearly cut and pasted replies that failed to even address our questions. Now we don't get any replies at all--just confirmations that our message is received. Are there any tricks to canceling a submission that we don't know about? We've tried canceling it ourself but only get the following message: "We are unable to cancel your submission for this application."

We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app for Kindle Fire Tablets, including the quality of experience the app offers and compatibility with the device. While our goal is to offer a broad and compelling assortment to Kindle Fire Tablet customers, not all apps available through Amazon Apps are currently available on Kindle Fire Tablets.

To be 100% clear, I did not ask about Amazon's review policy! I don't want my app reviewed at all! That's the point! I want the app to not be reviewed so I can upload a new version! [u][/u]

Same problem here. It has been for 3 months. When trying to cancel the app (under review for 3 months with no feedback), it returns the error message below. We are unable to cancel your submission for this application. When contacting for support, the following email came back every time. Thank you for writing in. We do not have any additional information at this time. We have noted your case number and app name, and if we do have additional information, we will reach out to you directly by reopening this case.

the same problem with my three applications I can not publish, status pending action.

Hi there,

If your app's status is Pending Action, then in Dev Portal switch to Review Status (the last tab) for your app, and click the "Details" button there to understand the issue. If you need additional clarification about that, please click on "Contact Us" in your Dev Portal account, provide the app name / ID, and we will investigate. Thanks!
