question

I have a Android/IOS/Web based Adobe AIR casual game that I am porting to Amazon. On the newer 7 inch Kindle devices (4th Gen) some of my smaller bitmaps are randomly corrupted. For speed optimization purposes these bitmaps are Text fields that have been converted to bitmaps at runtime. Oddly enough, I am also testing on a second Generation 7 inch Kindle that doesn't have the same problem. I suspect I am running out of texture cache/video memory in some way. My game already is optimized for video memory use, ie it down samples any image to be exactly the resolution it needs to be on screen. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
