Fiixed size SurfaceHolder resulting in blurring

Hi All, For performance reasons I'm using a fixed size SurfaceHolder (at half resolution) in my 2D game: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/SurfaceHolder.html#setFixedSize(int, int) On all other devices I've tested on I've never had any major issues - just a slight bit of aliasing. On Kindle Fire though, I'm seeing quite a bit of unwanted blurring / dithering. I'm guessing that the underlying SurfaceView implementation is dithering when scaling and that there is nothing I can do about it. Is my assumption correct? I've tried changing PixelFormats and targeting different API Levels with no luck. Thanks, Chad
