Are there any special API functions for Kindle Fire separate from Android

Are there any special API functions for Kindle Fire separate from Android? Please point me to the document that describes availability of any special API in Kindle Fire that is different from Android API. I would like to get information about programmatic access to favorites, carousal, purchased books etc. Thanks, Dipankar
