Problem with keyboard in Kindle Fire HD 8.9 emulator

Hello, I have a problem with Kindle Fire HD 8.9 emulator. When textview component in focus keyboard does not appear. On another emulators(Fire HD 7 and Fire 2) and real device Fire 2 is no problem. Is this problem on emulator only? May it appear on real device Kindle Fire HD 8.9? Thanks, Olga

Hi,   Thank you for your post. We have written a sample code for textview component and tested on KF HD 8.9" emulator and real device. We are able to see keyboard in case of focused textview on KF HD 8.9" emulator and real device. Please make sure to install updates on Android SDK Tools and check your emulator configuration settings.
