Question about Developer Select

Hi, I have submitted my app last week, it is live now in the store. The app failed as Developer Select and need modification due to: Not using Amazon Ad Device not target to Kindle Fire I have submitted a new version with Amazon Ad and this new version is approved and live as well, however the app still fail for Developer Select due to "Device not target for Kindle Fire". I have contact Amazon by "Contact Us" form, however, I just got a generic reply as below: "Thank you for writing in. We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app for Kindle Fire Tablets, including the quality of experience the app offers and compatibility with the device. While our goal is to offer a broad and compelling assortment to Kindle Fire Tablet customers, not all apps available through Amazon Apps are currently available on Kindle Fire Tablets." I would like to know what is the problem with the app that make it not compatible with Kindle Fire. I have run it in Kindle emulator and there is no problem. Thanks.

Hi, I would also say the same thing. We consider a variety of factors as we evaluate each app for Kindle Fire Tablets, including the quality of experience the app offers and compatibility with the device. While our goal is to offer a broad and compelling assortment to Kindle Fire Tablet customers, not all apps available through Amazon Apps are currently available on Kindle Fire Tablets.

Since I've got the exact same issue and looks like it is impossible to have a clear explanation from your support team (I have been asking this question for weeks without having a reply back), I am asking this question again here on this forum: 1. From what you are describing looks like you decide which apps make available for Kindle Fire and which not. Am I correct? 2. If the above assumption is correct, why from your submission process looks like the applications are NOT compatible with Kindle whereas they are? That confuses not only us developers, but users too!
