Nwebie - help can't even get started ...

Hello. I am trying to follow all the info as described here https://developer.amazon.com/sdk/fire/setup.html I have downloaded the JDK and installed it to a location called Libraries/documents/ANDRIOD --- (Windows 7) I have downloaded and installed the Andriod SDK to the same location. Starting eclipse gives me an error - No Java virtual machine was found blah blah blah..... Can anyone help please?

Hi Paul, Are you working on Win7 64bit or 32bit? If you are using Win7 64bit, you need to install Eclipse 64bit along with JDK supported for 64bit. If you install Eclipse 64bit, it looks for 64bit JRE. However if you have 32bit JRE, it gives error. Hope this helps.

Aha! - I am using windows 64 bit. I'll download the 64bit versions of both and give that a try. Many thanks
