Audio Dropping

I am a new FireStick user. I have noticed that the audio seems to drop ever 4-5 seconds. The stick is plugged into an HDMI port on my tv. This has happened when watching on HuluPLUS, or our Amazon Prime account, and video from Genesis via Kodi. I am at a loss what to check/change.
