Presidential-themed texts allowed?

I see that there are tons of shirts with texts like "Trump 2020" and so on. Is it allowed to use famous names this way without having to fear trademark issues or other violations?

Allow me to translate : You will only know the answer to this question if you try it and get rejected, or possibly terminated.

Don’t waste your time looking for useful responses from support. I can’t remember the last time they answered a direct question with a direct answer.

The non-chip-on-the-shoulder answer is that it's complicated. You can't sell a shirt with, say, Beyonce's face on it, since she has a right to publicity/right to privacy and you can't profit off her image. Politicians are usually the exception, however. While a politician doesn't lose his or her right to publicity when running for or elected to office, most do not pursue any action against those selling merchandise with their name or image on it, as long as they're not using official campaign logos or anything. But that's not always the case. Proceed with caution, padawan.

In other words you have a vague idea, like the rest of us. The point of my “chip on the shoulder” response is that support could pretty clearly answer this question, but they don’t. So, we are left to take the best guess of other content creators.
