Cordova-based App for Fire TV

I have an Android app that I built by using Cordova 1.8. By using Cordova, I was able to deploy my app as both as a Kindle Fire app and as a Google TV app (FYI: On the Kindle Fire, the app becomes touch-enabled). I would like to deploy my app now on the Fire TV platform. Does Fire TV support Cordova? If so, are there any tutorials or other docs that would help me deploy it?

Hi Jamespeterf, Thank you for reaching out. Cordova/PhoneGap is a framework written on top of Android's Web Kit. Fire TV does support Web Kit and hence Cordova apps. Please note that there is no support of Amazon Web View for Cordova apps so far. Message was edited by: Sujoy@Amazon
