Webapp - HTML5 Video Progressive Download / Streaming

I use the https://github.com/amzn/web-app-starter-kit-for-fire-tv for initial development. It seems that mp4 progressive download didnt work 4 me. Small Files 40MB will play directly. Large Files > 200 MB take 20-30 seconds to load. If i use this sample on Windows 8.1 with last Version of Google Chrome it loads fast. The Sourcecode includes the HTML 5 - Video tag.
