Earning Money for Alexa Skills

What would the Criteria be to earn some money for my Alexa skills? It has not been mentioned any where on Amazon Documentation.

You can find information like how to be eligible for Alexa Developer Rewards at the FAQs page, here. Additionally, monetization for Alexa skills has been announced! You can find information about what's coming (and even apply to participate in the preview) here.
