1/17/17: Announcement - Update to Application Process

We are happy to announce that we have launched a new application process today! We heard your feedback that we could improve and we agreed. So, we created a new process to approve the best sellers who create genuine and compelling content for our customers. If you have any questions about the new application process or account approvals, you can view the new "Account Requests" section of the FAQ page here. If you are asked to reapply, we will provide you with an expected decision timeframe upon submitting your new application. Please do not email us with requests to expedite the decision on your new application. We have to stop making decisions to respond to your email! We will notify you of the decision via email as soon as it has been made. As you wait for an approval decision, please review the Resources page and our content policies for design submissions. Thank you all for your patience as we work to approve more sellers, faster.

Hi Elizabeth, I learned of the new application process early this morning and promptly reapplied, along with giving my business website and my professional graphic design experience. I received an email from Merch around 5pm this evening that said I needed to reapply. Is this a robo email that is sent to all past applicants? When I clicked on the reappy button on the email, it indicated that my application was being reviewed.

Being selected , Is a Brand or Prior experience needed? I have a Brand and a Merch acount already I am just curious.

Kudos on the improved application process.

Just an FYI - I reapplied and was not given an expected timeframe.

On my account it shows "Currently, our average review time is approximately 60 days."

Thank you for clarifying the new application process! It is frustrating for us who have already been waiting for a year, but the new selection process sounds like a good idea, and hopefully will be much more efficient than the previous one.

Yeah, they sure will get back to you. I was asked to re-apply using the new process. I did so, then was promptly DENIED because they think I had an account in the past! I sent another email to them to make sure they were clear that I haven't EVER had a merch account, and asked what the purpose was for my denial! I've been on the list for a year, am an active seller on Amazon (different account) and sell shirts, etc. on Shopify. Guess what? I got the same stupid email back! It's just cut a paste! a form letter.... unbelieveable!!
